Although this is a Wavetable Pack, I also wanted to include stripped-down ‘Starter Presets’ that allow you to quickly browse the pack’s wavetables. Plus: They are a fantastic starting point to kickoff your journey into building your own sounds.
Each Starter features on Wavetable (WT) with its specific scan-through automation settings. That makes it super easy to test-drive all WTs and find the sound you like. Every Starter comes with a unique set of WT combination and Filter settings. To get the full mind-melting dose of sound: Activate OSC B & Filters!

RETRO X NOW for Vital
This is the perfect companion for Vintage & Lo-Fi if you are into Vital as well and want to find out how I make use of custom-made wavetables to design fully formed, unique patches.
The 80 presets inside Retro X Now were designed by utilizing wavetables mainly taken from Vintage & Lo-Fi but also from our other six wavetable packs.
This sound bank for Vital gives you lush, dreamy pads, dark basses and neon, cyberpunk-ish synth sounds and pays tribute to an era where synth-driven artists started to bloom and took over the music world.
I also wanted to add a more modern perspective. That’s why you can – with the help of the macros – dial in fresh sonic edges to the patches. Think of sounds that are rooted in the 80’s & 90’s and are projected into the future.
The Story Behind The Wavetable Packs
I remember walking into my studio one day, seeing all this amazing analog hardware gear that I had borrowed from friends and colleagues to finish a project... I thought, what a shame to give back all those beautiful cuties... I had put my heart into programming all these sounds and patches... what a waste...
So I launched into this sampling marathon and wondered, wait a minute - why stop there? That’s what everyone is doing. Let's take it a step further:
Let's chop up the samples into tiny molecules and transfer those snippets into Serum and create some Wavetables that capture those awesome analog vibes and live recordings.
The goal was to create Wavetables that sound amazing just by loading them into your favorite Wavetable synth.
At the end, I divided all 460 Wavetables neatly into different categories that match the characteristics of those new & fresh ingredients.
